Joseph B. Craig, 63, transitioned on Thursday, May 30, 2024, at his residence.
Mr. Joseph B. Craig was born June 27, 1963, in Memphis, TN, to the late James Edward Craig and Mary Green Craig.
He accepted Christ at an early age at Sims Chapel M.B. Church in Michigan City, MS. He was honored and respected throughout the community in which he loved.
He was employed at Byhalia Lawn Service for several years; he loved fishing, cooking & grilling, riding motorcycles, and hanging out with his family.
God called another one of his faithful servants home on Thursday, May 30, 2024.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one brother: James Craig (Earlene) of Michigan City, MS; special friend: Ashley Strickland of Michigan City, MS; special niece: Turesia Dowdy (Don) of Byhalia, MS and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents: James Edward Craig and Mary Green Craig; five brothers: Willie Craig, Charley Jackson, Frank Bolden, David Lee Craig, and Charles Edward Craig, two sisters, Mattie Lou Craig and Jessie Mae Craig.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635
Services will be held on Saturday, June 8, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., at Sims Chapel M.B. Church, 293 Sims Chapel Road, Michigan City, MS 38647
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
