Mrs. Jonnie Ella Collins, 55, transitioned on Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at Methodist Healthcare in Olive Branch, MS.

MRS. JONNIE ELLA COLLINS was born July 17, 1964 in Marshall County, to the proud parents of Beauty Mae Alexander and Tolbert Sholar, Sr.

JONNIE accepted Christ at an early age and united with Mt. Gilliam M.B. Church in Byhalia, MS, where she was a faithful member until her untimely death.

JONNIE was a loyal employee with Thomas & Betts/ABB for 30 years until her retirement.

JONNIE was united in holy matrimony to Andrew Collins of Holly Springs, MS on August 10, 2001, where they shared 19 years of love and commitment.

JONNIE leaves to cherish a devoted husband, Andrew Collins, a beautiful daughter, Felicia Hall (Floyd), handsome son, Andrey Collins (Andrew), and a beautiful  bonus  daughter,  Andrea Collins;   mother-in-law, Mrs. Ina Collins Jeffries of Holly Springs, MS; she was the baby of 17 children, six sisters, Annie White,  Betty Sholar, Kattie Holmes, Narcissie Benson, Ora Tunstall (Larry), Sandra Sholar  all of Byhalia, MS;  three  brothers,  Freddie  Sholar  (Wilma)  of Indianapolis, IN, Howard Sholar and Vivian Sholar (Sandra)  all of Byhalia, MS; four brothers-in-law, Kevin Collins, Sr., Floyd Collins (Kyonte) of Holly Springs, MS, Kenneth Collins (Sandra) of Senatobia, MS, and Derrick Collins (Margaret) of Nashville, TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

JONNIE was preceded in death by seven siblings.

Services will be held on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at 12 Noon at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Mt. Gilliam Cemetery in Byhalia, MS. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday, May 14, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
