John D (J.D.) Todd

John D. (J.D.)Todd, 87, died on May 26, 2019, at his home in Potts Camp, MS. J.D. was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on June 25, 1931, but grew up in Pinedale, MS. After graduating from Pinedale High School, he married Avis Lanell (Nell) Harrison and moved to Memphis, TN. J.D. became a firefighter for the City of Memphis and lived in Memphis over 30 years. After retiring from the Memphis Fire Department, he moved to Potts Camp where he lived until his death. J.D. was preceded in death by his parents, John D. and Lillie Belle Todd, five brothers, five sisters and son, Michael Lynn Todd. He is survived by his wife, Nell Todd, sons Kenneth Todd (Sherrie) and Rodger Todd (Jeannie), six grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
