Mr. John Perry Pryor, 63, transitioned on Friday, May 12, 2023, at Spectrum Health Blodgett Hospital, Grand Rapids, MI.

we are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

On December 3, 1959, John Perry was born to Lena & RC Thompson... later on Trudy & Buster Pryor adopted John Perry, at an early age. He attended LaFayette County School.

John Perry confessed Christ at an early age and served at Jeffries Chapel, until he moved away in the 1990’s along with his mother. John Perry loved his family and friends.

He was employed at HexArmor, Grand Rapids,  MI, where he loved his Job and employers.

On May 12th,  2023, the Angels came and took him in their arms and the Lord said servant well-done, it’s time to come home and take your rest.

John Perry leaves to cherish  his memories: James Thompson,  Bennie (Mattie) Malone, and B.W. Malone, all of Oxford, MS;  Lettie Miller, Bobbie McIntosh, and Ethal Malone, all of Abbeville, MS.

He was preceded in death by: Lena McIntosh, R.C. Thompson, Trudy & Buster Pryor, Rosie Wadley, Robert McIntosh, and Gracie McIntosh.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 26, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., and Services will be Saturday, May 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 294 Highway 7 North, Oxford, MS  38655.
