John Fitzgerald Kennedy Malone “Kenny” was born on December 28, 1964, to the late Lynn Hurt and Freddie Ora Malone in Memphis, TN. On Saturday, July 20, 2024, he transitioned at his residence in Waterford, MS.
John accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Hamilton Chapel CME Church in Waterford, MS. He was self-employed in construction. John was an outgoing individual who enjoyed helping everyone, watching westerns and wrestling, and being around his family and friends. He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys football team.
John leaves to cherish his loving memories: companion: Mary Bogard of Waterford, MS; one son: Jarvis Jones of Holly Springs, MS; one bonus son: Shoundarius Bogard of Waterford, MS; two bonus daughters: Melissa Bogard and Jannie Bogard both of Holly Springs, MS; three sisters: Robbiest Peeler (Larry) of Waterford, MS, Martha Jeffries of Memphis, TN, and Toya Carter of Holly Springs, MS; seven grandchildren, one great grandchild; and a host of uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
John was preceded in death by his loving parents: Lynn Hurt and Freddie Ora Malone; grandparents who raised him: John Henry Hardin and Martha Hardin; two brothers: Daniel Talley and Earnest Carter.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 26, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635
Services will be held on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., at Hamilton Chapel C.M.E. Church, 19 Hamilton Chapel road, Waterford, MS 38685
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
