Jimmy Lee Perkins, 64, transitioned on Thursday, December 4, 2025, in Holly Springs, MS 

Jimmy Lee Perkins was born on August 8, 1961, to the late Nathaniel McKinney and Deloise Perkins, in Marshall County, MS.   On Thursday, December 4, 2025, he transitioned at his residence in Holly Springs, MS.

Jimmy accepted Christ at an early age and joined Adolphus Chapel C.M.E. Church in Holly Springs, MS.  He was an outgoing individual who enjoyed making people laugh, and dancing.

Jimmy attended Holly Springs High School.  He was employed as a forklift operator with Link-Belt Company in Indianapolis, IN.

Jimmy leaves to cherish his loving memories: mother: Deloise Perkins of Holly Springs, MS; four sons: Jimmy Lee Vaughn (Neshia) of Southaven, MS, Jimmy Lee Tucker (Sharonda) of Holly Springs, MS, Jamar Lee Perkins, and Jamal Lee Perkins both of Indianapolis, IN; three daughters: Jamika L. Gaillard (Sir) of Holly Springs, MS, Jessica L. Tucker-Ollie (Omar) of Sardis, MS, and Jakayla Jones of Holly Springs, MS; two brothers: Grady McKinney and Tyrone Cancer both of New York, NY; ten sisters: Nancy Jones, Rosie Williamson (Craig), Valerie Perkins, Veronica Perkins, Loria Perkins (Michael), Gloria Byers, and Willie Mae Jeffries all of Holly Springs, MS, Johnnie Mae Willams and Brenda Wyatt (Joseph) both of Olive Branch, MS, and Linda Cancer of New York, NY; sixteen grandchildren; two great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

Jimmy was preceded in death by his father: Nathaniel McKinney; one daughter: Jeronica Hope; three brothers:  J.C. Perkins, Michael McKinney, and Napoleon McKinney.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025,  11:00 a.m.,  at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 North Memphis Street ,Holly Springs, MS 38635.
