Jesse James Alexander

Jesse James Alexander, 68, departed this life December 22, 2025, at the North MS Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born August 18, 1957 in Tishomingo County, MS to Rosie Lee Boyd and James Andrew Alexander.  He attended school in the Tishomingo County School system. Jesse was employed at Golden Manufacturing Army Clothing. 

In his leisure time he enjoyed hunting, outdoors and animals, especially dogs.

Jesse is survived by one daughter; Keisha Alexander Gooden, two brothers; Larry Alexander of Corinth, MS and  Willie Alexander of Henderson, TN, sisters; Annie Cook (Mike, Jr.) of New Albany, MS, Velma Alexander, Cassandra Blackmore and Johnnie Mae Luster (Michael),  two grandchildren; one uncle Harold "Ray" Alexander, special cousins; Phillip Allen and Ernest Hodges, a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He also leaves cherished memories with his Timber Hill family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three sisters; Verna Ann Alexander, Rose Ann Lawhorn and Alice "Teresa" Miller. 

Services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., St. Peter's M.B. Church 2, 130 County Road 110, Tishomingo, MS  38873.

Body will lie in state one hour before service time.

Burial will take place at Carter's Branch M.B. Church Cemetery, 273 County Road 958, Tishomingo, MS  38873.
