Jeffrey Raamond Jones

Mr. Jeffrey Raamond Jones, 41, transitioned on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Alliance Healthcare in Holly Springs.

Jeffrey Raamond Jones was born on November 13, 1979 to Brenda K. Jones and the late Lee Andrew Hicks in New Albany, MS.

He attended Holly Springs High School and graduated in 1998. He was affectionately called, “Black” by his family and friends whom he loved dearly.  He was a peaceful, humble and considerate person who had an infectious laugh that made everybody laugh with him.

Jeffrey leaves to cherish his loving memories a mother, Brenda Jones-Cromwell of Holly Springs, MS; two children, Briarria Shanii and Braxxton Alaxander Rachon of Memphis, TN; one brother, Pierre Howell of Holly Springs, MS; three sisters, Shannon Jones Diala of Senatobia, MS, Chernelle Jones of Holly Springs, MS, and Shalonda Howell of Corinth, MS,  an aunt who helped raise him, Karen Manning-Pigues of Holly Springs, MS; a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who loved him dearly and will miss his presence here on earth.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his father, Lee Andrew Hicks; grandparents, Elnora L. Manning, Autry and Christine Hicks; uncles, Joe Manning, Autry Hicks Jr. and James Wright; two aunts, Phillistine and Sandra.

Graveside Service will be held on Monday, March 1, 2021 at 1p.m., at Hillcrest Cemetery in Holly Springs. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs.
