Jeffery Mosley, 60, transitioned on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, New Albany, MS.

Mr. Jeffery Lee  Mosley, 60, was born in Blue Mountain, Mississippi to Vernon Mosley and Aline Cook Simmons on October 31, 1962. He transitioned from this life August 20, 2023 at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Oxford, MS.

He attended school at Blue Mountain. Jeffery did various jobs, working in construction. In his past time he liked fishing and hunting. He was a member of Love Praise Tabernacle Holiness Church.

He is survived by  his wife; Betty Gillard Mosley, one son; Corey Harris, two daughters: Shanae and Nicole Gillard, 6 grandchildren, sisters; Joyce (Jerry) Venson, Loyce (Hayes) Penson, Annie Pearl  (Robert Charles) Foster,  and Lisa (Billy) Stokes all of Cotton Plant, MS,  brothers, Rev. John (Georgia) Mosley of Racine, WI, and Lee Jr. Mosley of Cotton Plant, MS, a loving friend Teresa Stokes, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers;  Joe  Simmons, W.J. Mosley and Donald W. Mosley, one sister; Hattie Wade.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652.

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Love Praise Tabernacle Holiness Church, , 618 First Street, New Albany, MS  38652.

Burial will take place at Mosley Chapel Cemetery, Cotton Plant, MS.
