James Stephon Hilliard

James Stephon Hilliard, 52, of Tracy, CA, formerly of Oxford, MS,  transitioned on Friday, February 16, 2024.

On October 24,1971 James and Laura Hilliard Cancer were blessed with the birth of a son naming him James Stephon Hilliard, in Oxford, MS.

Stephon professed a hope in Christ at an early age joining Burns U.M. Church where he remained until moving to California where he lived until the lord called him into eternal rest on February 16th in Tracy, California.

Never meeting a stranger, full of happiness and always the life of the room with the big cheezie smile.  He enjoyed dancing, singing, having fun, playing spades, ( Soul Train) he thought he was the master of the game, and most of all he loved spending time with his children and his family.

James Stephon (JUK ) Hilliard leave to cherish his memories, His Parents James & Laura Hilliard Cancer, Son Christon James Underwood, Daughters Franchesca Zade Underwood, of Oxford and  Alexus Edmonds of Richmond, Virginia, Siblings Cynthia (Robert) Hilliard Lawson, of Tracy, CA, Beverly (Melvin) Hilliard Barnes of Memphis, TN, Lisa Hilliard, Willette (David) Hilliard, Rhonda (Ed) Hilliard Miller all of Oxford, MS, Earl Hilliard of Water Valley, Darin Hilliard, Hugh Hilliard, and William (Lisa) Hilliard, Brother/Special Cousin Demonzie all of Oxford, MS, and Special Friend (Children's Mother) Carmen Underwood, of Oxford, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews uncles, aunts, relatives and friends.

He was proceeded in death by Maternal and Fraternal Grandparents, and Brother Vernon (Squeaky) Hilliard.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, March 2, 2024, 11:00  a.m. to Service time at 12:00 Noon, at Oxford First U. M. Church, 102 Dylan Avenue, Oxford, MS  38655
