James Ray Frazier

Mr. James Ray Frazier, 62, transitioned on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 at his residence in New Albany. 

James Ray Frazier was born February 7, 1958 to the late Lamar and Maurice Frazier in Union County, Mississippi. He was a self-employed mechanic. He was a member of Love Praise Tabernacle Holiness Church in New Albany. He departed this life on August 12, 2020, at his residence in New Albany, Mississippi.

James leaves to cherish his wife,  Kathy Frazier;  one daughter, Marpineque Frazier of Racine, Wisconsin; six step-children, a host of grandchildren; three brothers, William (Gloria) Frazier, Charles Frazier both of New Albany, Mississippi, Curtis (Candie) Frazier of Blue Mountain, Mississippi, a host of nieces, nephews, other  relatives and friends.

James is preceded in death by his parents, Lamar and Maurice Frazier; two sisters, Maryle Louise Bennett and Pamla Bennett

Visitation will be on Saturday, August 22, 2020 from 11a.m. until 1p.m. at Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home Chapel in New Albany. Burial will take place at Mosley Chapel Cemetery in Blue Mountain, MS. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.
