Ivory Louis Mason

Mr. Ivory L. Mason, 62, transitioned on Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his residence, in Holly Springs, MS.

Ivory Louis Mason was born September 25, 1958, to the late Elton Wade Tucker and Dora Mae Mason in Benton County, MS.  

He attended Ashland High School and enjoyed fishing, collecting cars, music, and socializing.   He confessed Christ at an early age and was a member of Sandhill M.B. Church. 

He leaves to cherish his loving memories; two sons: Jeremy McKinney and Jamie McKinney both of Holly Springs, MS; four brothers: Walter (Phyllis) Mason of Lamar, MS, James (Bridget) Mason of Memphis, TN, Tracy Mason of Memphis, TN, and James (Ebony) Tucker of Lamar, MS; four sisters: Willie Gatewood of Holly Springs, MS, Brenda Mason of Memphis, TN, Jackie (Jessie) Morgan of Jackson, MS, and Cleo (Casey) Williams of Nashville, TN; 1 grandchild; a special friend Theresa Raimsey; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Elton Wade Tucker and Dora Mae Mason, four brothers: Willie B. Mason, George Mason, William Mason, Jr., and Edward Charles Mason; one sister: Dora Beard.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, 12:00 p m  to 4:00 p m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel  140 N. Memphis Street  Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, April 30, 2023, at 11:00 a m., at Sandhill M.B. Church, 10695 Lamar Road  Lamar, MS 38642.

Burial will take place in the Church Cemetery.
