Herman Lee Brown "Unk" was born on February 11, 1953, in Benton County, Mississippi, to the late George Brown and Verlie Anderson Brown.
Herman professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Sand Hill M.B. Church in Lamar, Mississippi, and later became a member of Redeemed Fellowship Church in Holly Springs, Mississippi.
Herman attended Old Salem High School in Benton County, Mississippi, and later owned and operated his own lawn service business.
He was known for his entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building something meaningful. Herman had a deep love for landscaping and the outdoors.
