Mrs. Glinda Ann Turner Jackson "Gwen" 66, of Michigan City, MS, transitioned on Wednesday, August 6, 2025,at Methodist Hospital, Olive Branch, MS.
Glinda Ann Turner Jackson was born September 15,1958, in Grand Junction, Tennessee. Glinda departed her earthly life on August 6, 2025, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital.
Glinda confessed her life to Christ at an early and joined Palestine Missionary Baptist Church in Michigan City, Mississippi.
Glinda was united in Holy Matrimony to Mr. Roy Lee Jackson, whom she leaves to remember the love they shared.
Glinda was preceded in death by her mother and father Gladys and James Turner; one son Franklin McClellan, one grandson Roytez McClellan and one daughter in law Ter’Ryon McClellan.
Glinda leaves behind one daughter: Nanette McClellan of Walnut, MS: two sons: Donnie (Samantha) McClellan, and Patrick (Ashley) McClellan both of Michigan City, MS; two sisters: Christie (Williams) Jackson and Alma (the late Frank Jr.) Allen both of Michigan City, MS; three brothers: Ray (Carolyn) Turner of Bolivar, TN, Vincent (Margaret) Turner of Grand Junction, TN and James Turner, Jr. of Michigan City, MS, 16 grandchildren, one great granddaughter, one dear friend Frankie Malone and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and family friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635
Services will be held on Saturday, August 23, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Palestine M.B. Church, 911 Palestine Cove, Michigan City, MS 38647.
Burial will take place at Turner Cemetery, Michigan City, MS.
