Francis Gillmore Obituary

Ms. Francis E. Gillmore, 82, transitioned on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at her residence in Potts Camp, MS. 

Frances E. Gillmore was born on May 1, 1938 in Fulton, Mississippi to Audie and Helen Young.  She was a factory worker and enjoyed life.

Frances was a devoted mother, sister, and grandmother.  Her family was her world and she meant the world to her family. 

Frances leaves loving memories with sons: David Young, Johnnie Brown, Clark Gillmore and James Gillmore, daughters: Juanita Gillmore and Mary Brooks.  She had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, three sisters: Janice Flinchum, Sue Bing and Lois Culver and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Audie and Helen Young, and stepmother: Annie Young, three brothers: Jody Young, Donnie Young and Jerry  Young, one sister: Rachel Young, and a son: Leon Gillmore.          

Services will take place on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at 11a.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 4, 2020’feom 5-8p.m. at the funeral home.
