Mrs Fannie Mae Turner

Mrs. Fannie Mae Turner, 78, of Hickory Flat, MS, transitioned on Friday, May 23, 2025, at St. Francis Hospital, Memphis, TN.

On November 04, 1946, A ’Diva’ was born, “Fannie Mae King-Turner” to the late Sallie V. King and Tyler King, Sr., who preceded her in death,

Fannie confessed her hope in Christ at an early age, at Union Valley M.B. Church.

Fannie was employed at Jordan Sales Company, where she retired after 30 years of service.

She was united in Holy Matrimony with her soulmate Jerry Turner, on March 15, 2008; who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her precious memories her son R.V. Wright of Hickory Flat, MS; one granddaughter R’Kayla (Joy) Wright of Flowood, MS; three brothers: John (Annette) King, Tyler King, Jr., both, of Coldwater, MS, and Terry King of Hernando, MS;  two sisters: Earnestine (Leon) Boyd of Coldwater, MS, Eula (Calvin) Echols of Marshall County, MS; two brothers whom preceded her in death: Robert James Caradine, and Jimmie King, Sr.; one aunt Hazel (James) Hardin of Memphis, TN; mother-in-law: Lillie Turner of Ashland, MS; brother-in-law: Rickey Turner of Ashland, MS; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, family and friends. Special thanks to her Hickory Flat Family and Community for loving and taking good of her throughout the years.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 30, 2025, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Services will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 2:00 p.m., at Samuel Chapel M.B. Church, 2561 MS 5, Ashland, MS  38603.

Burial will take place in Samuel Chapel M.B, Church Cemetery, Ashland, MS.
