Evelyn D. Rucker

Evelyn D. Rucker, 49, transitioned on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, Baptist East Memorial Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Evelyn Diane Rucker was born in Marshall County to the late Elvira Luster King and Stanley King on, March 10, 1974.

Evelyn accepted Christ at an early age and joined Chulahoma MB Church, then she later moved  her membership to Brown Baptist of Southaven, MS where she remained until her health failed.

On Wednesday August 23, 2023, she answered the call of her master and quietly slept away @ 3 p.m.,  at Baptist East Hospital in Memphis, TN.

She leaves to cherish her memories: her father Stanley King; four sisters, Eveleana Nesby (Wesley) of Olive Branch, MS, Latasia Sellers (John),  Shranda Hawkins (Edmond), Tanya King all of Holly Springs, MS; one  brother, Steve King (Michelle) of Holly Springs, MS; special aunt Catherleen Stiff (McCaster) A.K.A. Temp, and a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

Viewing will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, at 9:00 a.m., Service will be at 10:00 a.m. at Chulahoma M.B. Church, 5509 Highway 4, Holly Springs, MS.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
