Evangelist Juanita Gill, 65, of Moscow, TN, transitioned on Friday, September 27, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Collierville, TN

Juanita Gill was born August 27, 1959, in Victoria, MS, to the late Louise and Jessie Jones of Victoria, MS.  She gave her life to Christ at an early age, where she was a member at Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church, and later joined Jacobs Web Outreach Ministry as Evangelist Gill. Her love for serving God was at the top of her list of things to do, along with singing and cooking.

She worked and retired from Kellogg’s after many years of hard work.

Juanita was joined in holy matrimony to Leslie Gill, Sr., for 40 years, which blessed them with three beautiful children.

She leaves to cherish her two sons: Leslie Gill Jr. (Priscilla) of Bartlett, TN, Marcus Gill of Byhalia, MS and her daughter: Breannia Gill of Moscow, TN; her grandchildren Adreannia and Jacorian Gill, Ramyia Watson, Jordan Talley and Za’kirah Griggs; her three sisters: Huelean Jackson (O.M.) of Mt. Pleasant, MS, Irene Seldon (Larry) of Byhalia, MS and Carmen Jones of Cordova, TN; her mother in law: Ms. Helen Hall, and a host of nieces, nephews,  family, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother Louise Jones, father Jessie Jones, and her husband Leslie Gill, Sr.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Services will be held on Saturday, October 5, 2024, at 11:00 a.m., at Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church, 4244 Highway 72. Holly Springs, MS  38635

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
