Eva Villasenor, 74, transitioned on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at her residence in Byhalia, MS.

Mrs. Eva Villasenor was born August 26, 1948, in San Antonio, TX, to the late Elosia D. Medrano. She transitioned on Sunday, August 20, 2023, at her residence. 

She was a member of Queen of Peace Church in Olive Branch, MS. She attended Edgewood High School in San Antonio, TX.  She was a Business Owner and a Tax Preparer.

She was a hard worker, dedicated to her family, and she loved to dance.

She leaves to cherish and honor her memories, two sons: David Maldonado (Ramona)  of Los Angeles, CA, and Edward Villasenor of Byhalia, MS;  two daughters: Cynthia Maldonado of Byhalia, MS, and Barbara Soto of Los Angeles, CA; two brothers: Andrew Medrano (Betty) of San Antonio, TX, and John Medrano of Los Angeles, CA; twelve grandchildren: Rosanna, David Jr., Sabrina, Isabel, Christopher, Steven, Jonathan, Jennifer, Joshua, Anthony, Jacob, and Aaliyah; twelve great grandchildren: Angelina, Omarion, Alexandra, Aaliyah, Jayden, Amiyah, Jabari Jr., Ja’mari, Alijah, Ella, Mateo, and Elosia; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Elosia D. Medrano; husband:  Jose V. Villasenor; and one sister: Irene Lopez.

Viewing, be  Saturday, August 26, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., and Mass will be at 1:00 p.m., Queen of Peace Church, 8455 Germantown Road, Olive Branch, MS  38654.
