Elbert Fitzpatrick

Elbert Fitzpatrick, 66, of Holly Springs, MS, transitioned on Saturday, August 9, 2025, at his residence.

Elbert Ftizpatrick was born March 26, 1959 to the late Floyd and Annie Fitzpatrick. He confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Hurdle Chapel MB Church in Mt. Pleasant, MS. Elbert was a true outdoors man, that loved to coon hunt.

Elbert, affectionately known as "Head," departed this life on August 10, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherron McGhee Fitzpatrick and one daughter, April Earle, four brothers; Floyd Fitzpatrick, Jr., Sammy Moore, IL Fitzpatrick and Charles Fitzpatrick. three sisters; Maggie Roberts, Delores Bogard and Jacqueline Jones.

He leaves cherished memories with his 3 children; John Fitzpatrick (Laurel), Brandon Fitzpatrick and Courtney Fitzpatrick, his grands; Raven, Asia, Millian, Maleigha, Tamiya, Brandon, Zander, Breanna and Sariya. Elbert had a lasting bond with his siblings leaving two brothers; Ezell Evans and Donald Fitzpatrick (Joslyn), three sisters; Sandra Jones (Larry), Bonnie Hassell (Rickie), Ericstine Muhammad (Chris), and brother-in-law, Napoleon Jones, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at Pleasant Hill C.M.E. Church Cemetery, 4244 Highway 72, Mt. Pleasant, MS  38635.
