Eddie Ambrose

Eddie B. Ambrose was born September 13, 1932, in Marshall County, MS to the late Jeff McGee and Ethel Ambrose.  At an early age, Eddie B. confessed his faith in Christ and joined Isom Chapel CME Church.  Eddie B. was employed with Troxel Manufacturing Company for over 20 years and later went on to be employed with Holly Springs Lumber Company. The simplest pleasures in life, such as fishing, hunting, going to First Monday, and cooking brought the greatest joy to Eddie B.

In 1956, Eddie B. married the love of his life, Evor Lee Luellen.

The Lord called Eddie B. to rest on September 7, 2022, at the age of 89, at his home. He leaves to cherish his memories, his devoted wife of 66 years, Evor Lee: seven children: Eva Jean (Miller) Corbett of San Antonio, TX; Lorenzo (Diane) Ambrose of Memphis, TN;  Eddie (LaToya) Ambrose Jr. of Venus, TX; Stanley (Elizabeth) Ambrose of Byhalia, MS; Michael (Kimberly) Ambrose of Memphis, TN; Bonnie Malone of Lamar, MS; Bruce (Novella) Ambrose of Bolivar, TN; and one Son and Daughter-in-law, both whom proceeded him in death Carl (Ruby) Ambrose of Grand Prairie, TX. 

He also leaves two Brothers, Fred (Patricia) Ambrose of Lamar, MS and James Henry Ambrose of Millington, TN. A Sister-in-Law, Maggie Luellen and Brothers-in-Law, Jimmy Lee Luellen and Leon Gatewood. An aunt, Minnie Jones of Illinois. His parents and three siblings; Luvenia Wright Gorman, Clara Mae Curry, Lawrence Ambrose, and Gene Autry Ambrose proceeded him in death., and Kimet Luellen Jr., Columbus Luellen, and James Henry Luellen, all three who proceeded him in death. 18 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, a host of Nieces, Nephews, in-laws, other relatives, and friends who cherish his memory.
