Earnestine Gordan, 68, transitioned on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, in Oxford, MS.
Earnestine Gordon was born on April 1, 1956 to the late Earl and Mae Ethel Gilliom Sr., in Oxford MS.

She accepted into her life as her lord and savior and was a member of East St Peter MB Church in Abbeville, MS.

She later married the late Melvin Gordon Sr and was blessed with 8 children whom she loved dearly.

Her life's journey ended November 16, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ms. She leaves to cherish her memories: her children Kelly Gordon, Melvin Gordon Jr. (Mary), Ronnie Gordon Sr. (Tammy), Anthony Gordon Sr. (Constance), Melissa Gordon, Joanna Gordon, Crystal Gordon and Jeremy Gilliom. Her siblings Earl Gilliom Jr., Barney Gilliom, George Gilliom, Lena Porter, Ethel Goolsby, Earline Hudson, Ruby Gilliom, Betty Phillips, Shirley Isom (Chester), Joann Hood (Amos). 24 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Gordon Sr, her parents Earl and Mae Ethel Gilliom Sr., 4 brothers Curley Gilliom, Robert Gilliom, Granville Gilliom, Archie Gilliom and 1 sister Dorothy Joiner.

One Love is gone physically but will always live on in your hearts.
 

Visitation will be Friday, November 25, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.,  Serenity-Burney Funeral Home Chapel, Oxford, MS.

Services will be Saturday, November 26, 2022, at 2:30 p.m., at East St. Peter M.B. Church, 274 County Road 215, Abbeville, MS.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
