Mr. Earl David Sisk, 59, transitioned on Monday, May 24, 2021 at Pontotoc Extended Care in Pontotoc.
EARL DAVID SISK was born June 6, 1961 to Mrs. Frenchie Lee Sisk and the late Earl Dean Sisk in Taylor, MS. He accepted Christ early in his life.
EARL died peacefully at the Pontotoc Nursing home on Monday morning, May 24, 2021, two weeks from his 60th birthday.
EARL was a valued employee and worked many years at the Market Basket. He enjoyed working with special friends at his work. On the weekends, he loved being with family, laughing, dancing just to have a good time. He spent many laughters with the nursing home staff this past year.
EARL leaves to cherish his memories, his mother: Frenchie Sisk of Pontotoc, MS; two daughters: Katherine Bell (Dwight) and Audrey Souter Traylor (J.C.) of Pontotoc, MS; three brothers: Willie Sisk Jr. (Sandra) of Olive Branch, MS, Willie Sisk (Betty), and Robert Sisk (Merlyen) of Pontotoc, MS; three sisters: Ann Curry (Booker) of Oxford, MS, Shirley Carter and Denise Vaughn (Jimmy) of Pontotoc, MS; three grandsons: Montavious Bell, Marcale Bell and Nelson Cuellar; three granddaughters: Macayla Bell, Jazmine Cuellar, Kaleigh Souter; four special brother-like friends: Ronnie, Larry and Steve Souter all of Pontotoc, MS and Robert Ivy of Oxford, MS; four nieces: Olene (Frank), Earlie May Savage (Conlene) of Taylor, MS, Shug of New York, Bernice Townsend (Doug) of Wisconsin; two nephews: Robert Ivy and Charles Ivy both of Oxford, MS; a very special friend, Kathy Souter of Pontotoc, MS, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
EARL is preceded in death by his father, Earl Dean Sisk, two special friends, Jimmy Souter and Billy Wayne, a niece, Cherish Curry and his grandparents.
Services will be held on Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 1p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Pontotoc City Cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Friday, May 28, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
