Dwight Gray Obituary

Dwight Gray, 56, transitioned Wednesday, September 29, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in New Albany, MS.

Dwight Gee "LIl Baby" Gray was born September 12, 1965 to Billy and Helen Gray in Benton County, Mississippi. He was the fifth born of the five children.
 
He dedicated his life to Christ at an early age and joined Roysten Chapel CME Church in Benton County, MS.
 
In 1992, Dwight became a father to his first born, Phu'quan  DeShawn Lamont Gray. In 2015, he was blessed with a daughter, Arleya Symone Gray.
 
Dwight attended Central High School in Grand Rapids, MI. He was a people's person. He loved everyone he came across in his life. He was truly the life of the party in every way. Dwight was employed at American Furniture for 6 years. He was a dedicated  and  hard worker. Dwight, AKA "Lil Baby" will truly be missed by  his friends and loved ones. He  touched the lives of many. Dwight was an avid LA Chargers football fan.
 
September 29, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Union County, he departed this life for eternal life with the Lord.
 
He leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Mrs. Wyniesha V. Gray of Myrtle, MS, one son, Phu'quan DeShawn Lamont Gray of Grand Rapids, MI, one daughter, Arieya Symone Gray, two sisters, Georgia Mae Holt (David) and Limmie Brown (Orlanda) both of Holly Springs, MS, his mother-in-law, Coretta Spight,  a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins and friends. Special friends, Jimmy Miller, Benjamin Blakely, Eric Calicutt and the Alabama boys.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Billy and Helen Gray, two brothers, Hubbard, Jr. Gray and Henry Louis Gray.
 

Walk-through Visitation will be Friday, October 8, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs. MS

Graveside Service will be Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Hill Crest Cemetery, Holly Springs, MS
