Dudley Isom

Mr. Dudley Isom, 83, transitioned on Thursday, April 20, 2023, at Methodist Hospital, Olive Branch, MS.

Dudley Isom was born February 26, 1940, to the late Adolph Isom and Lizzie Mae Evans.

He accepted Christ at an early age and joined Isom Chapel C.M.E Church.

He attended St. Mary Catholic School in Holly Springs, MS.

He retired from Carrier Corporation, in Collierville, TN.

His life’s journey ended April 20, 2023, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital, in Olive Branch, MS.

He leaves to cherish his memories: his children Nina Isom and Vesta Isom of Memphis, TN; his siblings, Ardia (John) Isom of Chicago, IL, and Alfonso Isom of Memphis, TN; two grandchildren, Darian Conley and Chauncey Wilson of Memphis, TN,  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

He was proceeded in death by his three sisters, Irene Jones, Ozella Zinn, and Gerdie Clark and one brother,  Thomas Isom.

Visitation will be held Friday, April 28 2023, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 11:00 a.m., at Isom Chapel C.M.E. Church, 1436 Isom Chapel Road, Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
