Dudley Harris, Jr. was born June 2, 1955, in Byhalia, MS to Dudley and Clara Mae Harris, who preceded him in death.
He accepted Christ at an early age joining Mt. Pisgah C.M.E Church.
He departed this life on April 16, 2026, at the Grenada Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
His greatest passion in life was construction, softball and fishing. He worked at Pallet Source Company until retirement.
He will be forever remembered and loved by his son: Tyrone Harris (JoeNathan Scott) of Covington, GA; five brothers: Johnny Harris (Floriene), Albert Harris and Antonio Harris, all of Byhalia, MS, Louis Harris (Charetta) and McKinley Harris all of Holly Springs, MS; five sisters: Annette Harris (Robert) and Shirley Harris of Byhalia, MS, Christine Moore (Connie) of Red Banks, MS, Josephine Hester of Memphis, TN, Terrie Rubin (Antonio) of Olive Branch, MS; two uncles: Robert Garrison (Mary) of Olive Branch, MS, Leroy Harris of Memphis, TN; seven aunts: Verna Hardaway of Germantown, TN, Margie Green (James) of Holly Springs, MS, Vernester Yancey (Terry) of Collierville, TN, Regina Martin (James) of Cordova, TN, Lillie Jackson and Dollie Buggs both of Memphis, TN and Estella Boyd of McDonald, GA, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Dudley was proceeded in death by one sister, Earnestine King.
Visitation will be held 10:00 a.m. to 11:50 a.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Mt. Zion Taska M.B. Church, 519 Mount Zion Taska Road, Byhalia, MS 38611.
Services will be held 12:00 p.m., Saturday, May 2, 2026, at Mt. Zion Taska M.B. Church, 519 Mount Zion Taska Road, Byhalia, MS 38611.
Interment: Mt. Zion Taska M.B. Church Cemetery in Byhalia, MS.
