Dottie Mae (Graham) Harris

Ms. Dottie Mae Graham Harris was born April 25, 1954  in New  Albany, Union County, Mississippi to  Eugene Graham and Igola Calvin Graham. She departed this life on Thursday, July 1, 2021 in New Albany. She was a high school graduate receiving her GED. Dottie was a furniture factory employee for many years.

To cherish her memories she leaves her children, her son: Deitrick (Bobbie) Harris of New Albany, MS, daughters: Elizabeth (Todd) Danler of Middleton, TN, Sharon Jenkins of Henderson, TN, Vivian (Avery) Harris of New Albany, MS, Mary Harris (Taveras) Polk of New Albany, MS and Falanda Williams (Korey) Walker of Tupelo, MS, eighteen grandchildren and three  great grandchildren, two brothers: Essie (Crystal) Calvin of New Albany, MS and William Hayes Calvin,  of Tupelo, MS, three sisters: Mary Russell of New Albany, MS, Arneita Calvin of Tupelo, MS and Henrietta Calvin of Memphis, TN, her best friends: Odester McGlothian, Sarah Whitlock, Linda Schooler and Varnise Frazier and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Eugene Graham and Igola Graham, her husband: Robert Harris, sister: Patsy Calvin, son: Manuel Lee Wright, granddaughter: Latricia Ann Graham and special friend: James Lee Williams

Services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at 2p.m., at New Birth Community Church in New Albany. Burial will take place at Gerizum Cemetery in Myrtle, MS. Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home of New Albany is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday, July 9, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Simmons Funeral Home Chapel.
