Dianne Hughes

Dianne Hughes, 53, transitioned on Monday, December 1, 2025, at Baptist East Hospital, Memphis, TN.

Dianne was born June 20, 1972, in Memphis, TN to late Renell Hughes and late Willie Junior Raimey.

Dianne graduated from H.W. Byers High School Class 1990 and Rust College, 1996. She worked for ICS Headstart and Rust College.

 Dianne was a beautiful Child of God who loved God, family and all people. She loved to read her bible, sing, laugh, Praise God and have fun. She always had an encouraging word for you, even though she had her own health issues; she also loved Sports, all sports, especially the Philadelphia Eagles

She leaves to cherish her memory, eight sisters: Hattie Briggs, JoAnn Jones, Teresa Hughes, Deloris (Lawrence) Briggs, Idella Rainey,  Rosie Crutcher, Ruby Echols, Georgia Cash; seven brothers: Lorenzo (Suki) Hughes,  Lee Earl (Carolyn) Hughes, Jeff Hughes, Jimmy Hughes, Keith Hughes,  Larry (Mary) Raimey, Elven Raimey; one aunt: Ida Bell Thomas, one uncle: Robert Fiztpatrick, Jr., a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who she loved dearly.

She was preceded in death by her mother Renell Hughes and father Wille Raimey; four brothers: Willi Willie Raimey, John Allen Raimey, Henny Lee Raimey, Lee Eddie Raimey and one sister: Gerlean Finley

Services will be held on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at 12 Noon, at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635.

Body will lie in state one hour prior to service time.

Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Holly Springs, MS.
