Destieny Shynise Greer, 29, transitioned on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at her residence in Byhalia, MS.

Destieny S. Greer was born to Deric Dean and Vicki Green Miller in Oxford, MS. Her family and friends know her as D.D.

She confessed her life to Christ at an early age and joined New Hope Baptist Church. Destieny S. Greer graduated in 2014 from North Panola High School.

Destieny S.Greer ascend to Heaven April 8, 2025. Destiny was preceded in death by her grandparents Maggie Pearl Buffington Burford, Lorrine Dean, Willie B. Burford, and her niece Ava Crawford.

Destieny leaves to cherish her memories her lovely fiancé, Curterius Jefferson of Victoria, MS; her lovely daughter, Calylah Rose Jeffries of Victoria, MS; her beautiful, lovely mother, Vicki Greer Miller (Melvin); Her lovely father, Deric Dean of Tyro MS, three grandparents, James and Betty Greer of Como, MS; Robert Avant of Tyro, MS; Her bonus mom, Racy Jones of Southaven, MS; two sisters, Dieisha Hibbler of Memphis, TN and Taylor Shorty of Horn Lake, MS; two god sisters, Chiniya L. Yates and Jenesys Milan of Olive Branch, MS; three bonus sisters, Kieshunda Crane, Shauanna Jeffries, and Kieranna Jeffries all of Holly Springs, MS; three brothers, Jahem Gaulding of Waterford, MS, Daylon Dean of Bastesville, MS and Da’Shawn Dean of Tyro, MS; one bonus brother, Kiedarius Crane of Holly Springs, MS; Two very special special aunts, Michele Kevin Smith of Como, MS and Murray Sander Black of Sardis, MS; one nephew, Jamis Crawford; one niece, Paris Crawford both of Memphis, TN and host of cousins, uncles, relatives, and friends

Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635.

Services will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025, at 2:30 p.m., at Holly Springs Multi-Purpose, 235 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635.

Burial will take place at Free Springs C.M.E. Church Cemetery, Harmontown, MS.
