Derrick Lamarious Takari Johnson, Jr.

Derrick Lamarious Takari Johnson, Jr., 20, transitioned on Friday, March 12, 2021 in Holly Springs. He was a 2018 graduate of Holly Springs High School. 

He leaves his mother, Gloria Martin; father, Derrick Johnson (Kita Jones); grandmother, Jacqueline Johnson; great-grandmother, Shirley McKinney; brothers, DeJon Johnson, Darion Johnson, Princeston Johnson, Micah Johnson; sisters, LaPreciousius MartinLyndon, Legacy Lailah, Takara Johnson-Brayson, Zemeka Johnson, and Teresa Wright.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Gloria Jean Martin; and grandfather, Lamar Lloyd.

Services will be held on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 12 Noon at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will take place at Yarbrough Chapel Church Cemetery in Holly Springs. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, March 31, 2021 from 4-6p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel.
