David Lee "Davie" Walls

David Lee Wells, 54, of Byhalia, MS, transitioned on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at his residence.

David Lee Walls “Davie” was born April 17, 1971, in Lake Cormorant, MS, to Rosevelt Brown and Jerry Dean Walls. He departed this life Saturday September 27, 2025, at his residence in Byhalia, MS.

David accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Mt. Zion Taska M.B. Church in Byhalia, MS.  He was employed as a supervisor with CWS Water Company in Southaven, MS for several years.

David was a graduate of Horn Lake High School.  He loved his horses, cutting grass, watching football, cooking, grilling, and spending time with family. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan.

David leaves to cherish his loving memories wife: Denise Walls of Byhalia, MS; one son: Jerry Walls of Southaven, MS; one daughter: Deanna Walls of Southaven, MS; five grandchildren; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents: Rosevelt Brown and Jerry Dean Walls; and one son David Lee Walls, Jr.

Services will be held on Saturday, October 11th, 2025, at 11:00  a.m., at Mt. Zion Taska M.B. Church, 519 Mt. Zion Road, Byhalia, MS  38611.

Body will lie in state one hour before service time.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
