David Wayne Mills, Sr.

David Wayne Mills, Sr., 61, of Myrtle, MS,  passed away on  August 29, 2024, at his home from an extended illness. 

David worked as an Electrician for Mills Heating and Air of Helena-West Helena, Arkansas, until January 2021, when he moved to Myrtle, Mississippi

David especially loved fishing, visiting with family and friends; and watching movies. 

David had a huge heart and loved helping others. He was always ready to Lend a helping hand. David was a good friend to others, especially those in need or hurting. 

He is survived by one son: David Wayne Mills Foote; four sisters:  Linda Regusci, Debra Carson, Karen Moyer, and Jennifer Foote; and his two brothers: Charles Henry Mills, III and Claude Allen Mills (Rebecca); David is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews. 

David was preceded in death by his parents: Charles Henry Mills, Sr. (Father), Linda Marle Chastain Dougherty (Mother), and Vicky Lynnn Anderson Mills (Stepmother) 

SOMEONE IS MISSING: 

Let this be a loving reminder that someone is missing today.  Someone our hearts still hold on to, as we travel along life’s way.  Someone who made a life so special, for all those who gather here, someone who won’t be forgotten, but cherished from year  to year. And now, as we pause to remember, let us all fondly recall, how dearly each of us Loved him, and oh, how he loved us all! 

Viewing will be held on Monday, September 2, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., and Graveside Services will be at 3:00 p.m., at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery, 1152 County Road 54, Myrtle, MS  38650
