Darlene Edwards

Darlene Edwards was born to James Edwards and Katherine Sanders Johnson on November 16, 1968 in Evanston, IL.

On Friday, July 12, 2019, God called Darlene to his Heavenly Home.

Darlene was a graduate of Mary D. Bradford High School, Waukegan Technical Institution, and Northeast Community College workforce.  She was a member of Living Word Faith Center for 17 years, and she loved her church family.  Darlene worked at Myrtle Quick Stop and loved serving the public.

Darlene leaves to cherish her memories: two daughters, Shaniqua and Ba’Shae Little (Myrtle, MS); step-father Henry Johnson (Myrtle, MS.), three brothers; Henry Riddle (Jessie) of Racine, WI., Herman Riddle (Tammy) of Twin Lakes, WI and James Edwards (Laquita) of Atlanta, GA.;  one step-brother, Darryl Johnson of Myrtle, MS., and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Edwards and Katherine Johnson; one brother, James Michael Riddle and the father of her children, Walter Lee Little Jr.
