Mrs. Connie Modene Taylor, 79, transitioned on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at Shearer-Richardson Memorial Nursing Home in Okolona, MS.

She is survived by her loving family of two sons, Tim (Lynn) Brigance of Houlka, MS, and Kenneth (Brianna) Brigance of Lamar, MS; brother, Samuel (Patsy) Skelton of Lamar, MS; sisters, Wanda Carpenter, and Dorothy Roberson both of Lamar, MS, Carolyn (Ronnie) Hale of Potts Camp, MS and Lucy (Rod) Hunsucker of Waterford, MS, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, a host of other family members and friends to cherish her memory.

Visitation will be held on Monday, February 8, 2021 from 12 Noon until 2p.m., at The Families Residence on 2301 Clear Creek Road in Lamar, MS. Burial will take place at John K. Skeleton Cemetery in Lamar. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
