Mrs. Christy L. Hunt, 52, transitioned on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at her residence in Memphis, TN.

Christy Lanell Hunt was born March 10, 1971, to the late Mr. Jimmie Dale Hunt, Sr., and Mrs. Floyce Buggs Hunt, in Benton County, MS.
Christy passed away at her residence in Memphis TN, on June 17, 2023. Her memory lives on through all of us.
She graduated from Ashland High School; and attended Concorde Career Institute.
Christy leaves behind, two daughters: Crystal Hunt, Alshaveca Reliford, one son; Aljanerio Reliford; one grandson, Ahmad Reliford; one granddaughter, Kaci Love Jones; her fiancé Garry Alston; her siblings Jimmie Dale Hunt Jr., Billie Hunt-Harris (Earnest), Shirley Jean Boyle, Lottie 
Mae Monie (Eddie), and Flossie Poplar (Robert), and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends, who moss her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS 38635.

Services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at 2:00 p.m., at Hardaway M.B. Church, 1873 Hardaway Church Road, Michigan City, MS 38647.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
