Mr. Christopher Lenard Williams “Big Chris” was born on February 12, 1968, to the late Lapoleon Williams and Shockie Duncan Weathington in Memphis, TN. On Monday, March 31, 2025, he transitioned at his residence in Lamar, MS.
Chris graduated from Westwood High School in Memphis, TN.
Chris lived a life of simplicity, finding joy in things he enjoyed doing. He enjoyed fishing and later discovered farming. He was a natural born salesman. Whether selling home grown vegetables, or anything from lawn mowers to cars. He was full of life, energy, and loved people. He had a way of leaving and everlasting memory of him in your heart.
Chris leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories that will be carried in the hearts of those he leaves behind: mother: Shockie Duncan Weathington of Memphis, TN; wife: Adlishia Brown of Lamar, MS; one daughter: Christy Williams of Jackson, TN; three step-daughters: Aniesha Render of Holly Springs, MS, Amiyah Brown of Memphis, TN, and Tracie Brown of Ashland, MS; one sister: Patricia Oliver of Memphis, TN; one aunt: Fannie Hudson (Walter) of Lamar, MS; and a host of aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other family members, and friends.
Chris was preceded in death by his father: Lapoleon Williams; and three brothers: Bruce Williams, Robert Williams, and Kevin Williams.
Graveside Viewing will be held on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10:30 a.m., and Graveside Services will be at 11:00 a.m., at Miracle Temple Salt & Light Ministries, 6072 Lamar Road, Lamar, MS 38642
