Charles Zettie Gray

Charles Zettie Gray the son of the late Booker T. Gray Sr. and Mattie D. Foote Gray, was born June 6, 1946 in Blue Mountain, MS.  

He professed a hope in Christ and joined Saint James Temple COGIC Church. Charles attended public school at Timber Hills Community Services in Ripley, MS., and a school for children with special needs from 1976 to 2011. He was a master of being a helping hand.

He was employed at McDonalds in Ripley, MS as a Janitor for a few years and he did janitorial work for his school while attending there as well. He also helped out around St. James Church when needed.

On Wednesday June 5, 2019, he left this earthly life and went home to rest.

He leaves to cherish his memory two brothers, Lee Russell (Gloria) Gray of Blue Mountain, MS; Henry Lee (Arelesia) Gray of Belden, MS; three sisters, Mary Gray of Blue Mountain, MS; Jessie (Edward) Gray of Blue Mountain, MS. and Mildred Gray of Aurora, IL and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents Booker T. Gray Sr. and  Mattie D. Foote Gray , three brothers, Booker, Jr., Billy, Lonzo and One sister, Mattie Mae Triplett.
