Charles Stevens

Mr. Charles Stevens, 80, of Peoria, IL formerly of Holly Springs, MS, transitioned on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Fondulac Rehabilitation and Healthcare, East Peoria, IL.

Charles Stevens was born on June 11, 1943, in Worcester, MA, to the late Dewey Stevens and Mary Urich.

Charles enjoyed fishing, playing pool, and watching national geographic. He was a self-employed salesman, who loved spending time with his family.

On Sunday, March 31, 2024, he transitioned at Fondulac Nursing Home in East Peoria, IL

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey Stevens and Mary Urich; wife, Ruby Stevens; four brothers, Nicki Stevens, Miller Stevens, George Stevens and Bob Stevens; two sisters, Lola Stevens and Lucy Stevens.

His memories will be cherished by his son: John (Millie) Stevens, of Peoria, IL; two daughters: Doreen Stevens of Phoenix, AZ and Diane Stevens of New Orleans, LA; sister: Helen Stevens of Kenosha, WI; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

Services will be held on Monday, April 8, 2024, at 12:00 Noon, at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at Forest Hill Memorial Park, 1661 Elvis Presley Blvd., Memphis, TN  38106
