Chad Byers, 30, passed away September 22, 2021 at North MS Medical Center, Tupelo, MS. He was born June 10, 1991 in Odessa, TX to John W. Hancock and Andrea Byers.
Chad worked in the furniture industry and for Wal-Mart. He enjoyed working outside, playing music and spending time with his boys. His favorite colors were green, purple and blue. Each color signifies medical conditions. Green - Cerebral Palsy, Purple - Epilepsy and Blue - Autism.
He is survived by his wife, Sarah Byers, sons: Eli and Justin, father, John Hancock, mother, Andrea Byers, brother, Cody W. Gullick, bonus brother, Tanner McCollum, sister, Tishie Jones (Jimmy), five nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John Murphy Hancock and Iva Nell Mardis, maternal grandparents, James L. Mardis and Ann Dillard, his mother-in-law, Gerri Moody, cousin, Renea Alexander, great-grandmother, Mittie Lou Ford and aunt, Dale Byers.
