Cathy Johnson

Cathy Marie Jenkins Johnson was born, June 6, 1971  to the late  Thelma Lucille Jenkins Glover and  the late  Alvin "Bubba" Gulledge. She was preceded in death by her brothers James Marvin Jenkins and  Bobby Gulledge.  She departed this life January 19, 2022.  

Cathy was joined in holy matrimony to Jerome Johnson February 12, 2011.

Cathy was educated in the Holly Springs School system. Cathy accepted Christ at an early age at Providence M.B.  Church. She sung with the Heavenly Angels Gospel Group.and she also sung with the Anointed Spiritulettes as lead, soprano and background singer. She was also a community Foster Parent  who helped serve in the community with different organizations. She loved her family and friends.

She leaves her cherished memories with her husband: Jerome Johnson, children: Cornelius Jenkins (Alleyah), Camiesha Jenkins Clayton (Hershel), Cadarian  Jenkins (Sierra), Justin Oglesby (Shantasia), Kaylee Johnson,  step-daughters:  Dikeya Moore and  Tavasha Gatewood, grandchildren: Jamarvion (Ducy) Jenkins, Arlayshia "Butterfly" Jenkins, Jaliyal, "GeeGe" Oglesby, Heaven Clayton, Hershel "Fat Daddy" Clayton, Aaryn "Nunu" Jenkins, her siblings: Edna Kay Hampton (George), Sandra Denise Jenkins Hodges (Greg), Dennis Jenkins, Stephanie Wortham Malone (DeMarcus) all of Holly Springs, MS, Janice Gulledge Mitchell, Annette Craig (Harold), Vincent Belfore all of Memphis, TN, Barbara Belfore Redditt of Holly Spring, MS, Victor Campbell, Roxzin Gulledge Myles (Mike), Julius Gulledge (Rena), and Jennifer Gulledge Hilson all of Memphis, TN,  and Marcus Muse (Lamedra), Courtney Crane of Oxford, MS, Alberta Turner of Nashville, TN and Calvin Turner of Holly Springs, MS. her step-father: (Thomas Foster),  her best friend: Shaquita Bell Upshaw, a host of aunts, an uncle, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her presence dearly.
