Carrie Lenora Bady

Ms. Carrie Lenora Bady, 68, transitioned on Thursday, August 3, 2023, at Methodist Olive Branch Hospital, Olive Branch, MS.

On Thursday, July 21, 1955, in Mount Pleasant, Mississippi the Lord blessed Robert & Julia Pearl  with a beautiful, bouncing baby girl, Carrie Lenora Bady.

Carrie accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord & Savior at an early age. She was a faithful member of Berachah Ministries under the Leadership of Missionary Richenda Pritchard until her health failed her.

Carrie attended Sand Flat High School located in Slayden, Mississippi.

Carrie wore many hats, she was a Caregiver/Housekeeper by profession, but she really excelled at being a daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, auntie and friend.  She will always be a Hero to the family caring and raising 3 Generations. “SHE LOVED FAMILY”

She loved reading her Bible, watching television, but cooking was her first love.  SPAGHETTI was her specialty because she used a secret ingredient LOVE, you knew dinner wouldn’t be served until her famous Spaghetti was ready..

Death visits all ages and in every season…..all must come to an end.  And so it was on Thursday, August 3, 2023, Carrie’s earthly life came to an end.

Carrie will always be affectionately and lovingly remembered by her mother Julia Pearl Bady, one son DeMarreco Bady, five brothers, James Lee Ingram, Columbus Martin (Bertha), Robert Bady Jr, Terry Bady  and Oscar Bady (Georgia).  She  also leaves to cherish her memory eight Grandchildren a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends. She had enough LOVE for everybody.

What a family reunion it was when she got to  Heaven. Her father, Robert Bady, Sr ,sisters , Louvena Jean Smith, Patricia Ann Bady, Mary Elizabeth Bady, brothers, Eugene Martin, Willie Lee Martin and Grant Lee Burton greeted her at Heaven’s Door.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 11, 2023, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS.

Services will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023, at 12:00 p.m., at Berachah Ministries Church of God in Christ, 1191 Taska Road, Red Banks, MS.

Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
