Mr. Calvin Louis Marion, 67, transitioned on Wednesday, January 27, 2021, 12:00 noon at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS.

MR. CALVIN LOUIS MARION was born August 28, 1953, in Marshall County, Mississippi, to the late Florida Bell and Charlie Marion. 

CALVIN MARION was preceded in death by his parents Florida Bell and Charlie Marion, one brother, Charles Terry Marion.

CALVIN is survived by his wife Norma Jean Marion, one son, Cordale Cole of Olive Branch, MS; one stepson, Tommy Boyd of Abbeville, MS and three step-daughters, Tracy Boyd, Nora (Charles) Woodard, and Jacqueline (Tony) Flemmons,  all of Abbeville, MS; four brothers, William (Lorine) Marion, Garon (Noveller) Marion, Sr., Norman Marion, and Malcolm Marion, Sr. all of Waterford, MS;  two sisters,  Patricia (Wayne) Carr and Alicia Marion, both of Waterford, MS;  13 grandchildren,  ten great-grandchildren,  one sister-in-law, Bernice Herod of Abbeville, MS; three uncles, Thomas “Sonny” Newbern of Oklahoma City, McArthur (Katherine) Martin and Charles (Beverly) Martin both of Greenwood, MS; one aunt, Pauline (Charles) Lewis of Omaha, NE; many loving nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends who will miss him greatly.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 4-7p.m., at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Holly Springs. Burial will take place at Hamilton Chapel Church Cemetery in Waterford, MS. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Holly Springs is in charge of the arrangements.
