Boyce Bell, Jr., affectionately known as “Bro Bae,” was born on February 10, 1946, in Marshall County, Mississippi, to the late Drew Boyce Bell, Sr. and Della Mae (Riley) Bell.
At the age of twelve, he accepted Christ at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church in Victoria, Mississippi. He attended Henry Junior High School in Byhalia, Mississippi, and later went on to work faithfully until his retirement from Fab Steel Construction.
In July of 1967, he was united in holy matrimony to the late Dorothy Mae Simmons. He was a devoted husband and a loving father.
He leaves to cherish his memory three sons: Andrew “Dwayne” Simmons, Robert “Michael” Suggs, and Elvin (Aaron) Bell; and five daughters: Michelle (Roscoe) Davis, Carlisa (Stoney) Bell-Butler, Audrey (Frederick) Bell-Butler, Kala McClung, and Kele McClung. He is also survived by one sister, Johnnie Wilkins, along with a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dorothy Mae Bell; his parents, Della and Drew Bell; two brothers, John Edward Bell and Gwendolyn Scott Bell; and three sisters, Ella Mae Moore, Frankie Brown, and Christil Rae Hamilton.
Funeral Service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Antioch M.B. Church, 1306 Gardner Road, Victoria, MS 38679.
Body will lie in state one hour prior to service time.
Burial will follow at McCraven Cemetery in Victoria, MS.
