Billy T. Rutherford, Jr. was born May 10, 1970 in Ripley, MS to Billy T. and Lorange Carter Rutherford. 

He departed this life April 29, 2024. He was a member of Palestine M.B. Church and a graduate of Blue Mountain High School. He worked various factory jobs and enjoyed being and working outside.

Billy leaves to cherish his memories 2 daughters; Alliaha King and Quateka King (David) of Tupelo, MS,  5 grandchildren, his mother; Lorange Rutherford of Blue Mountain,MS,  1 sister; Angie Rutherford of Myrtle, MS,  3 brothers; Kellan Rutherford (Queena) of Myrtle, MS, Kenneth Rutherford of Tupelo, MS and James A. Rutherford of Blue Mountain, MS, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father Billy T. Ruther-ford, Sr., grandparents; Frank and Eddie Mae  Rutherford, J.W. and Ella Alexander Carter.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 17, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 722 Coulter Drive, New Albany, MS  38652
