Mrs. Bessie Mae Bullock, 87, transitioned on Friday, June 28, 2024, at her residence in Ashland, MS

Mrs. Bessie Mae Bullock was born to the late A.T. and Ada Williams in Michigan City, MS, on March 18, 1937. At the age of 87, she departed her earthly home, leaving behind a legacy of love and strength. Bessie was united in Holy Matrimony to William Henry Bullock for many years. She is preceded in death by her mother and father, A.T. and Ada Williams, husband William Bullock, brother Robert Williams, Sr., son Walter Moore, daughter Ada Tucker, and grandson Rayford Moore. 

She confessed Christ at an early age and later became a member of the Macedonia CME church. Bessie leaves to cherish her memories a close-knit family, including four sons, Lonzo Moore, Andrew Bullock, John (Sheila) Bullock, and James Bullock, all of Ashland, MS; seven grandchildren, Everette Moore, Kevon (Tammy) Moore (Ashland, MS),  Lakennia (Trevell) Terry of Southaven, MS, Tiffany Moore (Memphis, TN), Andrian Bullock (Memphis, TN), Tyreke Bullock (Ashland, MS), and Brently Denham (Ashland, MS): One sister: Daisy Smith; Two Sister-laws-Bobbie Williams and Carolyn Tucker both of Ashland, MS. One Stepdaughter- Millie Hall: twenty-One great-grandchildren, Five great-great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. 

Visitation will be held on Friday,  July 5, 2024, 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Services will be held on Saturday, July 6, 2024, at 2:30 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 140 N. Memphis St., Holly Springs, MS  38635

Burial will take place a Bullock Cemetery, Ashland, MS
