Barbara Neal

Ms. Barbara Neal, 83, transitioned on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. 

Barbara Ann Morgan-Neal was born to the late Clarence and Roberta McFarland Morgan on November 18, 1936 in Water Valley, Mississippi.  At an early age she joined Martin Street Church of Christ.

She was united in holy matrimony to the late Lynn Wood Neal and to this union two children were born.

She departed this life on Monday, May 18, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. She fought a good fight and now God has called her home.

She leaves to cherish her memories two sons; Dewayne Neal and Marvin (Emma) Neal both of Water Valley, MS, two grandchildren; Michael Hervey of Water Valley, MS and Antonio Brooks of Calhoun City, MS, three great-grandchildren; Michael Hervey Jr., Jacquran Hervey, and Zariarian Ragland all of Water Valley, MS, one stepson; Melvin (Ella Mae) Scott of Merritt, GA, one sister; Frances (Osie) McCulloh of Bellwood, IL, two brothers; Clarence (Betty) Morgan, and Vernon (Vanessa) Morgan of Water Valley, MS, two special friends; Helen Gooch and Annie Gaston, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by one sister; Mildred Thomas, three brothers; Roy Morgan, Charles Morgan and Ralph Morgan.
