Mrs. Annie Mae Milliner, 91, transitioned on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at her home in Oxford, MS.
Annie Mae was born to Helen Milliner in Lafayette County, MS. December 31, 1930. She attended Corner School on Woodson Ridge Rd of Oxford, MS. Annie Mae eventually moved to Memphis, TN and worked at the Pancake House, Goldsmiths, and later in private homes, until she relocated back to Oxford, MS. Annie Mae enjoyed family, friends, puzzle books, gameshows, bingo, and sports. Annie Mae leaves behind sisters and a brother-in-law; Inez Milliner (Memphis, TN), Mary Harmon (Birmingham, AL), Ruby Owens (Oxford, MS), and Joe Woodard (Memphis, TN). She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her lifetime buddy and mechanic Billy Jones.
Preceding her in death is her mother Helen Harmon, her stepfather Robert Harmon, sisters Arvilla Riley, Virginia Woodard, and brother J.C. Harmon, and nephew John Harmon.
Visitation will be Thursday, April 14, 2022, 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., at Serenity-Burney Funeral Home, Oxford, MS.
Graveside service will be Friday, April 15, 2022, 11:00 a.m., at Salem United Methodist Church, 11 CR 167, Oxford, MS.
