Albert Montez Walton, 49, transitioned on Monday,  June 3, 2024, at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo, MS

Albert Montez “Ted” Walton was born July 7, 1974 to Albert Lee Walton and Adlean Walton Walker, in Tupelo, MS. On Monday, June 3, 2024, he gained his wings at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo, MS.

Ted confessed in Christ at an early age and became a member of Clarks Chapel in Okolona, MS.

Ted was a very loving man; he kept a smile on his face.  He loved his family.

He was a San Francisco 49ers fan to his heart.  He loved to dance, listen to music, tell jokes, and enjoy life.  He worked at Tecumseh for fifteen years and Super Sagless for six years until he became hurt.

Ted leaves to cherish his memories: wife: Tiffany Randle Walton of Shannon, MS; mother: Adlean Walker (David) of Pontotoc, MS; one son DeAndre Walton of Verona, MS; three daughters: Kostacia Wilson, Tatianna Walton, and Tyreanna Walton all of Pontotoc, MS; four grandchildren: Kavion Wilson, Kra’Sean Wilson, Ka’Riya Wilson, and Kinsley Cooperwood all of Pontotoc, MS; three sisters: Lakeisha Johnson (Rickey) of Pontotoc, MS, Cassandra French of Amory, MS, and Kimberly Blanchard (Samuel) of Nettleton, MS; three special nephews of his deceased brother: Kendravious Cooperwood, Matthew Davis, and Jakobi Walton; four special nieces: Kimora Randle, Ky’la Jones, and Maniyah Williams, and Ally Johnson.  A host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Ted was preceded in death by his father: Albert Lee Walton; three brothers: James Walton, Johnny Walton, and Gabriel Walton; and his loving grandparents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 7, 2024, 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Serenity Funeral Home Chapel, 248 Highway 15 South, Pontotoc, MS   38863

Services will be held on Saturday, June 8,  2024, at 1:00 p.m., at College Hill C.M.E. Church, 7027 Highway 6 East, Pontotoc, MS  38863

Burial will take place in College Hill Cemetery, Pontotoc, MS
