Tenia D. Gilbert transitioned Monday, August 5, 2019 at Baptist -Desoto Hospital in Southaven, MS 

Tenia was born July 8, 1965 to Mary Alice Knox Gilbert and the late Hugh Paul Gilbert in Tippah County, MS.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her mother Mary Alice Gilbert of New Albany, MS, one son Mario Gilbert of New Albany, MS, one daughter Brandi Montgomery of New Albany, MS, three brothers; Eddie (Debbie) Gilbert of Tippahville, MS, Ronnie Gilbert of New Albany, MS and Paul (LaToya) Gilbert of Jonesboro, AR, one sister Wanda (James) Collins of New Albany, MS, three grandchildren; Laveah Montgomery, Jacoby Gilbert, and Ayden Montgomery, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
