Ms. Doris Laverne "Tippy" Williams

BELDEN- Doris Laverne Williams 'Tippy' was born October 19, 1961 to Mrs. Velma Lyons and Vinson Williams in Pontotoc County, Mississippi. She was a member of Usher Valley United Methodist Church. Doris was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters: Mary Lynn Williams, Linda Williams and Margaret Williams - Bean. On Thursday, July 12, 2018 at North MS Medical Center in Tupelo. Doris departed this life to live eternally with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Services will be held on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 1p.m. at Pontotoc Second Baptist Church. Burial will take place at Pontotoc City Cemetery. Serenity-Autry Funeral Home of Pontotoc is in charge of the arrangements.

She leaves to cherish her loving memory three daughters: Carlesa Williams and Seqouyia Williams both of Pontotoc, MS, and Artasia Williams of Racine, WI, four special grandchildren: Sharlexus Williams, Cortavius Shelton, Shatorria Williams and Jatavia Pass all of Pontotoc, MS, three sisters: Betty Cherry, Barnette Roberson and Marilyn Ray all of Pontotoc, MS, three brothers: Willie Williams and Sonnie Williams both of Pontotoc, MS, and Arnette Williams (Teresa) of Racine, WI and a special uncle: Willie Lyons of Southaven, MS, a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 4-7p.m. at Serenity-Autry Funeral Home Chapel in Pontotoc.
